3. Face Verification and Account Authenticity

To help maintain platform safety, authenticity, and trust among users, Veknd may request a live selfie during the verification process.

The selfie image may be compared with profile photographs using automated image comparison technology provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS Rekognition).

Veknd does not collect, store, generate, or process biometric identifiers, biometric templates, or facial recognition profiles.

The verification process is solely intended to confirm that the uploaded profile photographs belong to the account holder and to help prevent impersonation, fake profiles, duplicate accounts, and other forms of misuse.

Veknd strictly adheres to a One User – One Account policy. Face verification may be used as part of our efforts to ensure that each individual maintains only one active account on the platform, thereby promoting a safer and more authentic user experience.

Verification images are used only for account verification, safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes and are not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
